Specification - MI-VB, MI-VB-SM - Valve Box

Material - MI-VB Series is 14 gauge satincoat steel door and 16 gauge satincoat steel box and frame.  The MI-VB-SM Series is 16 gauge satincoat steel door, box and frame.  The MI-VB-SS and MI-VB-SM-SS stainless steel Series are 16 gauge #304 stainless steel door, box and frame.

Finish - Satincoat steel boxes have a primed white finish.  Stainless steel boxes have a #4 brush satin finish.

Door - MI-VB Series - flush to frame.  Turned back around edges for extra rigidity.  MI-VB-SM Series - overlaps box, providing a tight secure fit.  Optional - opening cut out of door to allow for glass or plastic window to be installed - window material supplied by others.

Frame - MI-VB Series - pre-punched mounting holes for simple installation.  It is welded to the box.

Box - MI-VB Series - welded onto the frame.  MI-VB-SM Series - hinged to the door.  All boxes are closed.  They have a steel back to them.  Optional - knockout holes for piping.

Hinge - Concealed pivot pins.

Latch - Standard - flush mounted, screwdriver operated cam.  Optional - Allen key, cylinder key, flush paddle latch, or pull ring catch. ll of MIFAB's cylinder key locks are keyed alike.

Packaging - One box per carton.
