Specification - FHA and FHG Series - Floor Access Door

Material - FHG Series has a door made of 3/16" (4) thick A36 steel diamond plate. FHA Series has a door made of 3/16" (4) thick structural grade aluminum diamond  plate.  Both doors can support 300 lbs. per square foot live load.  Frame material is composite hot rolled steel angle frame.

Finish - FHG Series is a primed grey finish.  FHA Series is aluminum mill finish.  Frame is finished with a bituminous coating.

Door - Flush to frame.  Equipped with an automatically locking hold open arm that locks the door in the open position.  Also available are 1/4" (6) thick doors reinforced to meet AASHTO H20 traffic loading (without impact for the FHA Series).

Frame - Complete with a 1" (25) anchor flange.  All hardware is type #316 stainless steel.

Hinge - Tamper proof steel hinges with stainless steel pins.

Opening Device - Automatic locking hold open arm with red vinyl grip allows door to open 90 degrees.

Handle - Stainless steel recessed lift handle in the door.

Lock - The lock provided is one of the following:  padlock staple, type #316 stainless steel snap lock with removable handle, recessed hasp, type #316 stainless steel pentahead, keyed deadbolt lock or hasp and staple.

Warranty - Ten years.
