Kwik Quote release notes August, 2010 Kwik Quote (KQ) version 5.1.4 - new features The Proformer product line now has net prices. When you add them to your quotation they will print as "net". Because all of the Proformer prices in KQ are net prices, you cannot [Apply Discount] when you are adding to the quotation and you cannot change the price using the [Edit Line / Price ] button. If the item is P.O.A. you can highlight the model, click the [Edit line / Price] enter a list price and tick the box "quote as list". The model will then have a list price. If it is a drain model and the category drains is discounted, the discount rate for that category will be applied to the model. If there is already a list price for a model you CANNOT change the list price and tick the "quote as list" box. If the model has a list price then you can tick the "quote as Net" box and the model comes up on the quote as Net exactly as before. Because the net price is set, no discount is applied to these lines. Several cross references have been updated and some new models added. June 30, 2009 Kwik Quote (KQ) version 5.1.3 - new features The format of the competitive quotation now has the MIFAB product number displayed first in the left column. This is to emphasize the MIFAB model number over the competitor's number. None of the input or display screens have changed. You will only see this format on the competitive quotations when they are printed or extracted to .xls and .pdf. Go to the menu Quotation / Spreadsheet export. The .xls file will be saved in the folder Program Files\MIFABUS\Quotations with a filename of spreadsheet-{reference}. You can change quantity and discount factor to reach a new value for the quotation. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you already have Kwik Quote on your PC, use the update routine, NOT the install. If you install over top of the Kwik Quote program you already have on your machine, you will lose all of your open quotations.
